Traces of the couplet ‘tā zar-o sim dar jahān bāshad, sekke-ye sāhebozzamān bāshad, 1207’ (‘While gold and silver will be in the world / there will be the coin of the Age’s Lord. 1207’ in Persian). Rev. Within a circle, ‘zarb-e dār al-salṭana Iṣfahān’ (‘Struck in the Abode of the Sultanate Isfahan’ in Persian); above, ‘yā Muḥammad’ (‘O Muhammad!’ in Arabic). Album 2831. Rare. Some scratches and with a few minor die breaks and traces of mounting, otherwise, about extremely fine.
